More About The Legendary Morris Ital

Launched to critical aclaim in the early 1980s, the Morris Ital represented the pinnacle of British engineering for the best part of the decade.
Available in a wide range of vibrant colours, including bright orange and snotty green, there is little wonder that it became such a massive sales success.

Indeed like other automotive icons such as the VW Beetle, which is still been made in Mexico, the Ital refuses to die. Even to this day it is produced in China as the Huandu CAC6430, where it is marketed as an upmarket alternative to the BMW 5-serise.


My interest in Itals began when I arrived in England 22 years ago. My dad took me to my first British Touring Car race and my first car show. At both events, Itals made impressive showings, coming in second in the BTCC and earning the awe of spectators at the car show. Since then, I was hooked on studying Itals with the determination to one day own at least one. My dream has finally come true: check out my photo page for pictures of my Itals.
